Help with mp3's naming and artwork

I am looking for free bit of software that can populate all the blanks on various album tracks ie date artist artwork group etc etc
am trying to updating my music library for my carplay screen

Whilst it's not free i've always used Tag&Rename for this, It gives you a 30 day trial but I have found simply reinstalling the product afterwards gives you another 30 days.

Alternatively you could use MP3TAG this is freeware and also offers what you are asking for but I prefer the interface of the former

Mp3tag is the manual way, you'll have to add all the data yourself.

I remember using MusicBrainz years ago which can do this automatically: https://picard.musicbrainz.org

Edit: Never mind, forgot Mp3tag also comes with a built in searcher.

Oh wait I'm an idiot, you're right, I forgot Mp3tag also has a search function for MusicBrainz, Discog, etc. built in. I've been using it for so long but only to manually correct tags.

I'm actually old school and use musicBee to play music and don't stream music, MusicBee has a great tagging tool.

What a blast from the past the name Mp3Tag is, I must admit to relying on Spotify these days but spent hours tagging MP3's in the 00's and early 10's
