HELP with my assignment please

hey

well basically i have an assignment to be in in 2 days. Its a literature review and my chosen top is "Fear of crime amonst men and women".

Basically we have to chose 4 books on the topic read them and comment on them and then also gather 6 other references that dont have to be mentioned within the essay.

i have my four books and have read the pages related to my topic.

question is...HOW DO I DO THE ESSAY? :confused:

im confused. a literature review to me sounds like i should be commenting on the books i used but the examples i have are just written like straight essays. no "this book was helpful because..." or anything.

please help

There isnt one.

i just have to conduct research on a topic of my choice using 4 academic text books. then comment on what the books say about my topic.

i just dont know a way to write the essay

im just quoting from a book im using. but the quote is by ssomeone else in the book if u get me. how do i reference that?
