Hi all
My dad spends a lot of time away so hes got an ipad to pass the time. This past week a message came up on the screen about icloud backup. It says its been at least 2 weeks since it was backed up. Icloud backups happen when the ipad is plugged in, charging, switched off, and connected to wifi.
Its a cellular ipad so I took the sim out of it thinking that would force it to connect to wifi, then i could turn it off and let it do its thing.
However, the screen wont let me do anything, its like the screen is locked to show this message. I cant get jnto settings, and cant even turn the ipad off because when you press the power button, it says "slide to power off" but as the screen is locked to this message, I cant turn it off.
Does anyone have any suggestions please?
Thanks
