ok this is my first build and I wanted to know if I had missed something, (graphics card obviously but iv just not made a choice yet except im going radeon over geforce) do I need more cooling, have I picked anything I don’t need or the model I have picked is over the top and im trying to do a quiet build so should I swap anything with a quieter model

A bit confusing, but i think you meant to leave out the Pre overclocked bundle, or else you're effectively buying two PCs!

You can overclock quite reasonably with the H50-1 that you have specified, but 2000Mhz RAM is a bit overkill in my opinion. That ram is fine if you were going for the best overclocks you can get from an i7 930 but you would need a better cooling solution than the H50-1 to do so. 12800 RAM (1600Mhz) should be fine and save you a few quid.

Do you need a 1000W PSU? Are you planning on running two or more graphics cards in your system? 650W should be more than enough for a single card (even some SLi/Crossfire combos!)

Everything else looks ok. I believe the Fractal R2 (R3 should be out any day now) is a quiet case not sure about it fairs against the HAF X in that regard though.

yeah if you want a quiet case go for an antec p series, either 183 or even better 193
agree you dont need 1000W 850 is more than enough for 2 card system
re gfx card Id recomend a 5870 vapor x version

buy a GTX480 and have the fastest.

and you will need that big psu for two in a sli configuration

i think ive finalised my build specs just checking i havent missed anything (i stuck with the case just cos i liked the look of it over the antacs)

your graphics card and your power supply could be changed but if your running short on cash drop the ssd and up the graphics card with that set up its gonna boot quickly anyway and you can add an ssd later. also the rampage 3 is good but isnt it pointless if your buying a pre-overclocked bundle? although i have the same almost and cant get mine to 3.6 so maybe i should have done the same!
