Hi all. I'm in the process of building my 1st computer. My current one is 5 years old and I think it's time to upgrade. After a bit of research, I've come up with the following build. Any help, suggestions, advice would be greatly appreciated.

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
Motherboard: MSI Z87M GAMING Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Twin Frozr V Video Card
Case: Corsair 350D MicroATX Mid Tower Case
Total: £908.57

I already have a corsair 650w PSU and other peripherals such as monitor, speakers, optical drive, os etc.

The pc will be mainly used for gaming and watching movies.

Just a couple of observations I would go for a Z97 motherboard for future proofing and possible go for 2133mhz/2400mhz ram.

Also not keen on Cooler Master CPU coolers I would go with something like
Silverstone Argon, Raijintek Themis or Arctic Cooling i30 but thats my personal opinion.

Yup, I agree with vark about the Z97 motherboard and Ram, also you could save some money by going for 8GB, its more than enough for gaming and watching movies, but thats up to you really
