Hi,

Okay first time I've ever attempted this type of build and my first build of any sort for about four years.

I've put together a list of what I'm thinking of getting and could really do with advice about any pitfall or compatibility issue I might have.

BitFenix Prodigy Mini-ITX Cube Case - Midnight Black £69.95

ASRock Z77 Pro4-M Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard £79.99

Intel Core i5-3330 3.00GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W)

HIS HD 7850 IceQ X 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £129.95

Corsair RM Series RM 650 '80+ Gold' 650W Power Supply £89.99

Corsair Hydro H80 High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler *Manufacturer Refurbished Unit - 90 Day Guarantee £39.95

Total = £635.80

I have a Samsung Evo 120gb SSD and a 2TB HDD already to go with it.

I would like to know if theres any issues and is there anything I could improve on. It's for games and general day to day stuff, trying to get it as quiet as possible too. My budget is £650 but could stretch to £700 if really needed.

Not really sure about the PSU or CPU cooler.

Thanks in advance for any help I really appreciate it. :)

EDITED for update.

That motherboard is mATX - the case is ITX.

If you want it as quiet as possible, get an air cooler rather than the h80. Something like this:

YOUR BASKET
1 x BeQuiet Dark Rock 2 CPU Cooler £49.99
Total : £58.69 (includes shipping : £7.25).

Here's something a bit over budget, but that will get you considerably better performance:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Sapphire Radeon R9 270X Toxic OC 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Card £179.99
1 x Intel Core i5-4670K 3.40GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail £179.99
1 x Gigabyte Z87N-WIFI Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 Mini ITX Motherboard £119.99
1 x BitFenix Prodigy Mini-ITX Cube Case - Midnight Black £69.95
1 x Patriot Viper "Black Mamba" Generation 3 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (PV38G160C9K) £65.99
1 x BeQuiet Dark Rock 2 CPU Cooler £49.99
1 x BeQuiet Pure Power L8 500W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply - With 120mm Silent Wing Fan Built in £49.99
1 x BitFenix Spectre 200mm Fan White LED - black £11.99
Total : £741.97 (includes shipping : £11.75).

The CPU is overclockable for a nice performance boost. Here's a review of the GPU (note the performance vs the 7850 in the benchmarks): http://www.kitguru.net/components/graphic-cards/zardon/sapphire-r9-270x-toxic-edition-oc-review/

That's great thanks. God knows what's going on with me and the CPU/Mobo blindness lol. I can stretch the extra if I wait a week so I'll go with that list I think.

Thanks again really appreciate the help. :D
