Help with my first PC build please

Just had an attempt at putting together my first computer but can't get anything to work, the spec is as follows:

Intel Celeron D 326 2.53GHz (whilst waiting for E6600)
Asrock ConroeXFire-eSATA2
2X1Gb Corsair TwinX XMS2 DDR2 PC5400 (667) 4-4-4-12
M Audio 192 soundcard
Antec Phantom 500w
Antec P180
Asus 7600GS

When I power up I nothing happens expect for the blue light on the front on the case lighting up. Presumably I've just forgot to do something rather than something being DOA but I'm not really sure where to start. Anyone got any suggestions on where to start trouble shooting?

Are any of the fans spinning.?


Are you sure you have attached the "power on" connector to the right termininal on the Mobo? They are a bit fiddly at the best of times an I've got a few wrong in the past.

no fans on, but I was under the impression that the phantom fans didn't kick in until it got to a certain temp, could well be than I've connected the power on connector incorectly though, I'll check that tonight.

The light on the case I guess means there's something being powered, any ideas what that's likely to be?

Cheers, I can't see an led on the mobo which makes it a bit tricky, I think it isa something to do with the connecters on the mobo though, when I was connecting them I wasn't really sure what I was doing, we are talking about the connectors I've circled in red in the bottom right on the pic arn't we? These threw me a bit as the connectors I had didn't appear to match correctly.
