Hi thought I'd post in this section too...
I've just got my "new" powermac g4 1.25 dp mdd which is running 0SX 10.5.3 on a 120gb hard drive ata 100 another 40gb ata 100 hard drive is running OSX 9
I've got a spare seagate baracudda 80gb hard drive that I'd like to use as a dedicated drive to store my lossless music files.
As I don't use osx 9 for anything could I swap the 40gb to the ata 66 adaptor and fit the 80gb drive to the ata 100 adaptor and somehow set itunes to import songs to the 80gb drive.
Also the 80gb drive currently contains OSX 10.4 and some other files, how would I go about totally reformatting this drive to empty
