I have been having Driver display problems since the new NVIDIA 347.25 update this month... My monitor random loses connection to my Pc but PC still is alive for several minutes, I then manually restart my PC and this happens again and again after a short time, I havnt upgraded any hardware for over 6months and have been running this setup for about 11months and not had any similar problems to date... the only software changes i have done in the last 30day have been Flash / shockwave updates... Also this week once or twice i have lost connection (black screen) for 5 seconds or so then the following error message appears *** display driver nvidia windows kernel mode driver, version 347.25 stopped responding and has successfully recovered *** this meaning im linking the two errors both to driver errors... can any help or shed any light??? many thanks

My setup is running off 600wPSU I have a feeling this might be a small problem soon, but as i havnt had any problems yet and not planning any upgrades... do you guys think that the new drivers are wanting more juice from my PSU this causeing the problem??? for now ive backdated the driver to an older one, currenly testing/running Fingers crossed...

The builder series corsair units are generally regarded as their lowest tier for performance and quality, that said if it is functioning correctly you should have no problem powering your system with it :)

Try the ddu sweep and clean drivers firstly before worrying about other hardware though.

Hello again, I've tried: rolling back my Drivers / clean driver install / Using a past driver that worked and today I have formatted my PC and started from new... and the same problem keeps happening, Im losing connection to my monitor and some times I will get an error message saying "display driver nvidia windows kernel mode driver, version ****** stopped responding" other times the PC will go black then restart its self... its happening even when the PC isnt working hard only web-browsing ect

Please Please somebody help me

Fwiw i found the newest driver to be incredabily unstable. Getting lockups and freezes on desktop, rolled back solved my issues. Nvidia drivers the last few months have been incredabily sketchy tbh. Bunch of my friends on 700 series cards been having issues similar to OP. Screen going gray for a few seconds then back to normal mid game has been common for then. The driver usually doesnt crash but just spazzs out.

it happens with in 15 minutes every time, i can be running no programs what so ever and it will happen the second i open goggle chrome.... like i said i have formatted it now and reinstalled old drivers from Aug 2014 and still happening.

I would say gpu or psu fault...Don't suppose you can get a loan of a psu from anyone to test?

Agreed Paul and I would look more to the GPU. Happens from time to time. try another PSU if poss or the GPU in another machine and that will show what is what.
