Help with my overclock

Hi, I overclocked my my 3770k yesterday to 4.5ghz at about 1.260v. It's hitting 80 max under load on occt linpack which is okay but if I try for 4.6, it won't run stable until at least 1.3v which then runs too hot. Could this be due to something else such as the wattage option, can't remember hat it's called but that's apparently what it is. Also my ram speed has went to default 1333mhz from 2400mhz when it's on auto mode. There's a option to change it to 2400mhz or higher. But when I restart the pc, it just shuts off. Do I need to overclock the ram manually now ?

The ram issue is probably voltage. Raise it in steps until it will boot. It may also be an advantage to loosen the timings initially to CL11 until it is running, then you can fine tune it when you have the voltage correct.

It won't even boot to bios though. Ill give it another try tonight. I just thought it was more complicated that just having a list of speeds to change it to.
