Hi there, been assembling my computer this afternoon, are as follows:

Asus P5N32-E Sli
Intel Q6600 2.4GHz
Corsair TWIN2X4096-6400C5
Nvidia 8800 Ultra
Corsair 620W Modular PSU
Antec 300

Zalman CNPS9500A-LED CPU Cooler
Hiper 120mm Blue LED fans x 3

There is power going to all components, all fans are spinning however there appears to be no output to my monitor (Yes i have the setting set to DVI). I have tried the following:

Reseating the RAM, and alternating slots.
Alternating DVI ports on the graphics card although this surely should not cause any problems.

I was unsure on the following:
There is a 4 pin PSU connector which does not have a socket (or am i just being silly)?
The graphics card has two 6 pin connectors on the top, i have two x 6 pin connectors connected to the motherboard.

Please note: the bios screen also does not show.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Iv taken the 12V (8 pin)connector out from its socket and placed the 4 pin cable in, and same problem. Any ideas?

There will be a 4 pin connector. Both the 8pin and the 4pin need to be plugged in.

The 4 pin port can often be found near the CPU on some motherboards and isn't always in an obvious place.

Also im assuming you had all the necessary power cables plugged into your gfx card?

In the manual it states that the 8 pin must be connected or the system will not boot, so i have taken the 4 pin out and connected the 8 pin.

Can you try with other graphic card?
Also try clearing CMOS.

Wrong! They're both for same: feeding CPU.
8pin EPS12V connector was originally used in multi-CPU server motherboards but its use has simply spread also to desktop mobos.

Used my housemates 7600GT which also failed to make a difference to the boot up.
I also used his Crucuial dominator ram, and that also failed to make the system boot.

Seriously running out of ideas now.
Thanks for confirming the information about thee 8pin EPS12V connector 'Esat'

Sorry to bump my own topic but im really stuck on this.

Iv tried re-seating the processor, im starting to beleive the motherboard is not working correctly.

Gunna rebuild outside the case 2moro with just mobo, cpu, psu, cooler and graphics and see how it runs, if that fails may need a new mobo :(

Didn't my suggestion work then?, can't think of oat else mind, more feedback = more help.

I tried so many different combinations of everything that i cant remember exactly what i tried. Will give it a shot tommorrow and let you know how it goes, thanks for your input!
