Help with new build please £800'ish

Hey everyone, I dont know much about hardware. Im looking for some help on what parts to buy for a new build (Can put it together myself)

I want to spend around £800 will go to £850 if its worth it (Dont need monitor).

I was thinking of getting,

MSI Ati R9 390 £265 or GTX 970 £220-270 depending on manufacture

Intel i5 6600K 3.5ghz £200. Is there anything AMD worth looking at in this price range?

If I got the 390 is it still fine to get intel processor? Or should I get AMD?

Hi Matt, deffo go Intel, im sure someone will be along soon enough with a great spec for your budget. I would personally get the 390 over the 970

Case wise, are they all fine as long as they are midi size? Im not really fussed what it looks like to much, so could save a couple of quid there
