I have a budget of around 700 pound can go to 750 if its worth it i game a lot, BF 2142 C&C3 ect.. so gfx has to be nice. so far ive came up with this

Abit IL9 Pro (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 "LGA775 Allendale" 1.86GHz (1066FSB) - Retail
GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C5 800MHz Value DDR2 Dual Channel Kit
Gainward BLISS GeForce 8800 GTS 640MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB ST3250620AS SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM
Lian-Li PC-60 PLUS Aluminium Midi-Tower Case - Black
OcUK Huntkey 550W PSU

if there is things i should change or you can come up with a better spec please say

thank you :)

would the alaska zen be able to fit the GeForce 8800? i have read some threads about they are pretty big in size.

also the PSU on the gfx it says that 500w minimum 600w prefered thats why i went for the OcUk was in the middle of these at a good price.

thanks for input

sounds good, how is the cooling in the akaska then :)?

this is the new build from your advice.

Akasa AK-ZEN-01-BK Zen Black Case - No PSU
Gainward BLISS GeForce 8800 GTS 640MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI
GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C5 800MHz Value DDR2 Dual Channel Kit
Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 "LGA775 Allendale" 1.86GHz (1066FSB) - Retail
Gigabyte GA_965P_DS3P (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
Corsair HX 520W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU (CMPSU-520HXUK)
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB ST3250620AS SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM

Total - 694

so if this looks i have some money spare to buy windows vista ;)

just another question, in the spec i said everything should be compatible right? and building dual core intel systems its basically the same as building a AMD?
because ive only built AMD systems before.

thanks again

ok thanks a lot for the advice , well i am going to order the computer now and in a month or so i will buy the Tuniq 120 CPU cooler and start overclocking.
