not too bothered about aero or dvd software so ive just gone for vista home basic. Also got the ballistix rather than the geil purely for the timings. I know it makes sense to buy cheaper parts then easily overclock them but my last 2 pc's fried because of it. Im just looking for a fast system out the box that will do what its told

is everything ok and compatible? Ive been out of the "game" for so long.
