Hello all,
I recently won a I5 2500K for pretty cheap and i have been trying to decide if i need to update my BIOS which im pretty sure i dont but just looking for clarification.
I currently have a I3 2100 and a Gigabyte GA-H61M-USB3-B3.
The reason im asking is because on the CPU compatibility list all of the CPU's say since BIOS version F11 which is the latest instead of actually breaking down which ones worked with which update.
I assumed since this motherboard was made for this chipset it would just work but thought id ask before it arrives in a couple of days time.
