Help with new gaming PC

Hello, would like some help with a pc build, looking to get back into PC gaming. I'm looking for a gaming rig around £600-£800 plus a monitor(monitor not included in £600-£800 budget), in regards to the monitor 120hz or 144hz, is there much of a difference? Also which Anti-Virus software is good to go for?

I dont know about 120-140Hz but i do know that 60-144Hz is a huge jump, plus the monitor in the above also has Freesync for AMD cards.
