Hey Guys,

I am new to the forums and looking for a bit of help. As I was mostly a console guy, I have no idea where to start to be honest or what the best specs would be to choose.

Basically I am looking for a pre-built gaming system that can handle most new game titles on high - Ultra settings with great FPS, such as BF3, MW3, Skyrim etc. Planning to maybe stream some games down the line for a community that I am part of, so a system that can handle that as well would be ideal.

I was thinking of connecting this to my 40" hd tv, as not got much room for anything else but unsure if this would be a good idea and if I should get a decent monitor instead.

Budget between £800-£1200. No need for mouse, keyboard etc. but will need OS.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Cheers Guys

Thanks for the quick response mate.

So is The 580 Graphics card one of the best to go for? I would be willing to spend a little more, looking to get this on Finance anyway.

TP-Link 450Mbps Wireless N Dual Band PCI Express Adapter (TL-WDN4800) - Would you recommend this as the best option for a wireless network card? I know gaming over wireless is not the best choice, easiest option for me.

How loud would this system be or with the case etc will it be rather quiet?

In my opinion the 580 is a brilliant card to have mate, I am hoping to be
getting a couple soon and sli them.

Yeh that wireless card should be ok for gaming mate, as long as the router
you are using will do wireless N technology you should be fine.

With regards to the loudness of the system it should be ok, but it depends on
the quality of the fans that come with the system, If you find that the system
is to loud with this case then maybe you could buy yourself some really
good fans and swap the one's in the case and save the others as backup.

Well I think Ill go with that system, ill have a look around at the cases that you guys mentioned and see which one I'd prefer.

Is it possible to just upgrade the 500 GB HDD to 1TB? if so anyone that you would advise on getting?

Also just a basic HDMI cable will do for connecting this to my HD tv right?

Cheers for the help.

Yeah any other spec you want to change just phone them up im sure they will be happy to help. Yes a basic hdmi cable should work.

What's the budget on the GPU ? The 580 is a generation out of date now, and is outperformed by both the 680 and the 7970.
