Help with new Graphics Card? [Please help :[ ]

Ok, I've just bought this PC for christmas, Now i want to upgrade to a new graphics card:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-121-OK

I have been advised the the PSU might not be able to handle it, Is this the type of graphics card that needs a molex in the back or is it just a straight slot into PCI slot?.

I'm a bit scared to unscrew the PSU to see the sticker with the wattage on as it has a warranty sticker on the PSU, This is my PC:

Removed since its a competitor link :P but the model of the pc is a Packard Bell

Could my PC handle the graphics card, Please say asap as i want to order tomorrow haha :)

The computer should have come with a booklet describing its parts. You might be able to find the PSU power rating there.

I suspect the 250 will be okay, but prebuilt computers from highstreet stores are notorious for having the bare minimum PSU.

Find out the PSU rating. Fingers crossed you could be fine. I used to run a duo core with an ati 4850 and it supplied enough juice to run smoothly. That was only a crappy Jeantech 300 watt PSU. lol

Im sure if the Palit GeForce GTS 250 needed extra power it should come with the correct 4pin molex adapters as with my previous to cards did.

You'll be ask to remove that competitor link later on.
