Help with new monitor selection

Hello All,

Long time viewer of the forum but extremely occasional poster. I hope you're all well.

Looking at upgrading a 5 and half year old 21" Ilyama screen to fit with a year old gaming pc (In short: 8gb RAM; i5-2600k @4.5mhz, GTX570) I built which was probably the last time I sought advice round these parts.

I've a budget of around £300 (although cheaper is obviously not frowned upon). Looking for the best monitor regarding colours, refresh rates, low input lag but not too bothered by 3D.

Thoughts?

Edit: looking at around 23"

I believe the 750D has the best colour out of the box.

Or you can go for an IPS panel which won't be as fast but as much better colour reproduction, such as this

You have to compromise somewhere, can't have the best in every area.

If you want the best colors at that size the Dell u2312hm is a nice one with pretty much no input lag. Response times are also excellent for an IPS.

If you want a monitor with very fast transistions and nearly no input lag the previously mentioned S23A750D is a very nice option. Colours will however differ depending on the viewing angle.
