Hi everyone!

I am looking to finally invest (~700GBP, no monitor, mouse etc needed) in a new gaming pc.

I am mainly playing league of legends, with the occasional game of Sims/RCT.

The reason I am aiming for slightly higher specs is that I would like to start streaming. I currently don't do any video editing.

How does this build look to you?

Thanks for your help,

Was thinking BitFenix Neos? (purely for liking the looks of it). Nope, I have a windows 8 license flying around somewhere that I'll use.

Okay, so £744 all in, and only has an AMD 6-core.

If you pushed to £800 (depends on build fee Customer Services quotes you but will be around that I imagine), you could get an i7-4790K, which is a massive improvement for around £50. An i5 would do the job, but I hear that in games which use all four cores on the i5, then streaming is smoother with an i7 (extra threads).

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £763.92
(includes shipping: £0.00)

380 better than 960 at present.

The Toshiba HDD is considerably faster. I've got that Seagate and also the Toshiba and have tested.

Change case to whatever you like.

Thanks for the feedback!

Looks interesting, didnt know that I can get custom builds assembled here ( apart from the configuration bundles.

As you can tell I am a total noob when it comes to hardware.

Just read the description of this: OcUK Z97 Gaming Upgrade Bundle - Z97-D3H - Intel Core i7 4790K - 8GB DDR3 Memory

'Get more out of your system with the Intel 4790K's party trick. The Intel Core i7 4790K is fully unlocked, meaning you can use the features within your Z97 motherboard to overclock the chip and get more performance from your rig!'

Does this mean I have to make any changes to the PC settings myself to fully use this?

If you are installing Windows yourself later on, be sure to unplug the Sata data cable on the HDD before firing it up and installing Windows. Once Windows is installed on the SSD, turn the system off and plug the Sata data cable back into the HDD to get it operational. This avoids the issue of some Windows sections like the Page File installing on the HDD during the process.
