Hi all
I have been out of the build yourself for some years now, but my old computer is having a hard time with my new cad software so thought it was time to upgrade.
Processor wise I was looking at the Intel Core i7-3930K 3.20GHz, but when I looked at mother boards and memory there are loads to choose from.
So I don't want to overclock or play games, just need a fairly hefty system to crunch the cad software. Rendering is done via the graphics card and is not a problem; it's just the actual 3d wire frame stuff that once it gets fairly complex my current system takes ages, as in minutes to crunch the data, if possible would like to keep under 1k if possible, but not essential
Any info, advice or recommendations would be much appreciated.
Many thanks
Rick
