Hi as you can see from my sig below it's been awhile since I upgraded and I have come to the decision to put this rig into retirement.
Now while I have been keeping track of developments with new kit I have never used or even seen any of it in action so I am asking for opinions and advice on the following setups.

basicly looking to either to squeeze extra preformance for similar amount of cash or cut back on stuff that provides no real extra benefit and save some cash.
the rig will mostly be to play games and now and again to watch dvd's any anll advice and opinions appreciated.
