Help with new TV card

Got a Compro T220 from Overclockers and wow it’s a pain in the ass I still can’t work at why it doesn’t work right. The main problem seems to be the signal strength it jumps from 98% down to 0% all the time and I don’t know why; I connected an old freeview box to the Ariel and its works fine.

Any help welcome.

Its a "feature" of compro cards , its cos they are utter carp

God only knows why OCuk dont stock hauppage cards , they are far better

I ended up throwing out my compro tv card

only problem with compro is , their own software can be buggy (latest version sheduler doesnt pick correct channel)

with the latest compro drivers, you should be able to pick what transmitter your aligned too and as long as its a good signal(ie. analogue signal is not in any way fuzzy), shouldnt have no problems.

Thanks for the replies people it’s got worse now; I had it working for about 20mins then nothing I don’t even get a signal now. I’ve tried drivers, different software even checking IRQ settings and nothing, as far as the real signal is concerned its very strong I live near London and my other Freeview box has no issues.
