new water cooled case

im looking to get a new case but having trouble with which one to get ,
i have been on all the forums and read lots of different things but im sure that i will go for water cooled and there are three i like on ocuk site but not sure on the kit you get in it is going to be ok .

Thermaltake VD4000BWS LCS Kandalf Full Tower - Black

Thermaltake VE2000BWS Armour LCS Super Tower - Black

NZXT Lexa Classic Series Ultra light Aluminum Midtower

and thanks to all the threads i have had the fun of reading and all the great pictures of fantastic computers i have seen i was amazed at the things people had done with there cases

Well, I'll admit up front that I'm not a great fan of Thermaltake, although I never took to calling them Thermaltack myself.

Unless you are really desperate for a Thermaltake pre-watercooled case, the water cooling in those kits is very expensive for what it is.

Do you only want to water-cool the CPU?

If so, then have a look at the Alphacool website in the Ready2Go section, or just do a Google search on 'Ready2Go UK" and that should bring up lots of better quality pre-water-cooled cases. Some are the same price, but maybe a touch smaller, some are more expensive. They will be easier to upgrade though and generally they will all work significantly better.

I recently bought a Lian-Li PC7+ II with decent water-cooling components in it, pre-installed and filled with water cooling for the CPU, northbridge and graphics cards for just under £200 delivered from a UK specialist water-cooling company.

I would definitely recommend you buy from a specialist water-cooling supplier as they will make sure that everything is right and any extra's you require are available. OcUK have good pricing on boxed up units, but as far as I am aware, they don't carry any Thermaltake 'spares' - they will just refer you to the manufacturer for that. As far as I know they don't even carry smaller general purpose water-cooling items like tubing clips so unless you buy a complete kit, you'll have to buy bits elsewhere anyway. If you know that up-front then fine, but if you're sat there with a broken pump or a split hose and you can't get the right part, then you'll be grateful for the support of a specialist as they'll be able to recommend an alternative that will fit and usually they'll be able to supply it from stock.

Once you've built the first one, you realise very quickly all the possibilities for making it better, and you will want to upgrade. With a Thermaltake system that'll just be that much harder.
