Help with none working system

Hi all i've just put together a small machine to use as a file server whith all the following componants

E8200
Asus P5KE WI-FI edition
2x1gb Team X-treme 800hmz
Inno 7200GS 512mb
OCZ Modsteam 600w


(no HHd's connected atm)

I have just turned it on and all the fans turn on and gpu fan is full speed ....

I didn't notice this till i swapped the gpu out for a old x1800 xt due to the screen being blank

So i decided to to go old school and got a mobo speaker plugged it in started up again no beeps .......

Then i thought ill check see if the mobo is duff so i removed all the ram and it amits a error code in beeps


So this brings me to what can cause a fault which wont amit a error code and put all teh fans on full tilt as this is as far as i can go with the fault finding as i dont have any DDR2 ram or a none 45nm cpu to test

Any help would be great thanks

Have you tried just one stick of mem at a time? Checked all connections? Check all the simple stuff first.

yer checked all the basics and tried each stick in all slots


iam thinking could this be due to a old bios not supporting th 45nm cpu ?

Hmmmm found this http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?p=11198146 could be due to my ram ...

and there is this on the asus site
