help with norton ghost !

hi I hope one of you can help me I have fitted a new drive and have ghost image of my set up, having tried to move it to new drive I have i have messed about all weekend to get it to boot to no avail, now i have buggered up original.

I can see the files on partition but when I boo to that drive it wont and i get a error message disk read errror

how on earth do i get the drive to boot

its a seagate 7200.10 250mb sataII
motherboard is asus kn8-e its plugged into to correct sata point
its shows up in bios as lrg rather than lba????

this happened to me aswell - i ended up using seagate discwizard to copy the old drive instead.

but if the old drive is gone (which it sounds like it is) maybe try installing winxp on the new drive to (hopefully) get it to boot, and then try copying the ghost image.
