Basically im running a 3700SD/MSI K8N NEO2 plat/1gb infineon :( ddr400.
Now i think im running a divider, as i know the rams really bad but ive managed to get 2530 out of the SD while the ram mhz is at 191 (timings are 2-2-5-2). This setup is completely stable, but im sure i can get more out of the chip. As soon as i go over 230fsb windows wont boot. Im running 1.5v and im pretty sure everything else is standard.

Is there any way of getting more out of the chip without having to buy some proper ram? :)

Thanks

the memory voltage starts from 2.5 and only goes upto 2.85, with the last 3 options flashing red saying danger!

sorry im abit new to the whole thing and dont really know much about it!

ive tried upping the mem voltage and the same thing happens

i have this thing called Adjust CPU Ratio (going upto x11), its on the startup setting atm, but what is this?

Cheers for clearing a lot of that up Mercutio, i suppose i shouldve just read some sites to save you lot the hassle! (too lazy :D)

But im still having the problem of not being able to boot after going over 230, even after messing around with voltages. All my temps are fine btw, cpu is 38 and my case is around 28-30.

I suspect its just the cruddy ram, but surely if it can run 200mhz without a divider, i should be able to do the same with a divider? (Its currently at 191mhz)

yeah thats one thing i havent tried, i know 2-5-2-2 is pretty tight timings yeah? (well i dont know) so ill give that a go. cheers
