Hi,

I have my E6600 clocked at 3.5Ghz (389 x 9) on my bios with 1.42 vcore and 1.72v on the nb, my ram is OCZ Plat PC6400 which is rated at 800mhz, however at this fsb even though my overclock is orthos stable, i am unsure as to how to get my ram running faster?

At the moment my ram is running at DDR 779 if i up the fsb to (400 x 9) then my ram runs at DDR 800 which is it's rated speed, but at fsb 400 the system is not stable even with more voltage i cannot get the cpu stable. So i tried chnaging the strap on the memory it's currently at DDR533 if i up it to DDR667 then the ram runs at around DDR 900 which is to much of an overclock for my ram!! :( so should i just buy some new that will do higher clocks?

Or does anyone know of a way to unlock the multipliers on the E6600? that would be good.

Thanks anyway

Yeah thats the one,

I was thinkingof maybe lowering the multiplier and upping the fsb, but i have heard these abit boards have problems with fsb's over 400 do you know anything about that?

Thanks

did a quick google, plenty of the boards out there going over 400, some mentions of bios issues so hopefully theres a bios update that resolves any previous issues.
