Help with old Xbox account

My old Xbox gamertag was WillyMcFlapper. Now i'd like to use it again, but I can access it either through xbox.com or through the 360 (recover account) because I cant remember the card number, and it wont accept the email address/password I think I used. This was 4 years ago when I created it.

Is there anyway to remove this old account so I reuse the gamertag on my new Xbox 360 account?, i.e change my current gamertag.

you can retrieve your card info using your live login as I had this problem when I wanted to cancel my old account a while back

go to www.billing.microsoft.com

login and you can change your card details in there
