between here and there
afternoon all,

I have a user who's emails all show as an hour behind.

The system time is correct and so is the time in the calender but for some reason any email he receives always shows as an hour behind.

We don't have exchange just a lonely pop3 server, which does have the right time on it.

Has anyone experienced this before??

Has anyone got any perls of wisdom they'd like to share on how to fix this issue??

Cheers in advance.

:)

I receive emails from people in different time zones all the time, and they always show up as their time, not mine. Have your user verify their time zone is configured correctly on his pc (DST enabled, all that stuff). I don't think there's anything in Outlook that will configure differently.

Sorry, that's the only thing I can think of.

yeah the bst time setting where the first place i went, but sadly they are all set correctly.

I emailed him myself from my machine (in same building) and the time still came up as 1 hour behind.

I'm stumped as to why this is happening.

All google can provide is links to fix the calender being out of date/time. no use :(

fixed it.

I changed the system time to an hour behind and then turned the 'adjust for summer time' option on.

Jobs a good'un

Cheers for all the replies guys.

I appreciate your time :)
