Hi, I’ve recently been trying to get my Asus Striker II Extreme overclocked but I can’t get it running stable. I’ve only just managed to get it running stable on stock speeds and I’m pretty new to overclocking so need help.
I got it running ok at 400x8 = 3200Mhz and it initially tested fine on Prime95 (4 hours)...though the CPU temp was hitting 70 at one point. Then after a reboot it kept having random freezes even with no load. I played around with Volts (CPU, NB, MEM) and it didn’t seem to make any difference.
Does anyone have any ideas? Does the fact I’ve got a X6800 (only 1066MHz bus) in my rig effect things?
