help with overclocking

Hi there and welcome to overclockers 
right first off have u got the options in bios to overclock ? i cant really help you about the cpu as I'm amd but I'm sure one of the guys could as you asked nicely lol

That CPU should easily hit 3.6 if I remember correctly, then it just depends on if your mobo is good enough/has enough editable options to get the system stable.
As others have said though, read through the stickies such as the Beginners Guide to Overclocking, the basics are covered in there. Also search around on the forums and have a read. Once you have a better understanding come back with some more detailed questions and you'l get a better response. Just asking how to overclock will get you pointed in the direction of the stickies lol
