I've had my system for a couple of years and just been trying to get a bit of a boost by tweaking the RAM but I must be doing something wrong as I've only managed to get it to boot once and then it rebooted when I ran the Windows Perfomance test.
The system is:
Gigabyte X58A-UD7 (F8M)
i7 950 D0
6GB Corsair TR3X6G1600C8D
Noctua NH-U12P SE2
MSi N580GTX Twin Frozr II
Win7 Pro 64-bit
It has been running on Stock\Auto which gives a RAM speed of 1066, I've tried to get it to 1600 using XMP Profile and manually and also tried 1333 but both failed.
I wouldn't object to a boost in CPU either.
Any help appreciated.
