Hmm, wouldnt it be worth it for the extra 20 quid for a faster memory at 1800mhz and 4890 being 2000 more?
so i take it everything is compatible with my set up?

This should do you proud. Although the top end of your budget @ £838. A kick ass system though. Notice the 2x in some areas. :D

Hi ,

Yep your right , the Corsair H50 does not come with 1156 fitting parts out of the box. You need to contact Corsair for a free bracket.

You can replace it with any high end cooler though that has fitting for a 1156. Its around the same price.

ive ordered that g card along with
i7 920
ud3r mobo
corsair 650 psu
and the 6g patriot viper
with antec 300
titan fenrir cpu cooler

was just wondering if i needed the thermal paste?

chances are you have to apply the pase yourself

unless it states on any of the components that it comes with paste then unfortunatly you'll have to buy some

get some AC MX-2 like OLDPHART suggests

if you ordered the retail cpu (with the box and standard heat sink) i believe it comes with some applied to the bottom (my q8400 did) if it's the OEM i don't think it does!

however, since you've ordered the titan like others have said get some MX-2 and away you go :)

RE Mobo UD3R

if you ordered the retail cpu (with the box and standard heat sink) i believe it comes with some applied to the bottom (my q8400 did) if it's the OEM i don't think it does!

the fan comes with some u have to apply to the cpu yourself ! :P
i want to know did u build your system yet and what settings did u use for the i7 3.9 or 4.0mgz? i need to sort mine out as i got same fan and mem and Mobo thanks

The Titan Fenrir comes with some "Royal Grease" I believe. Used some the other day and temperatures were really good. No need to buy extra.
Just put a small pea sized blob in the middle of the CPU.
