HI bought this rig about a year ago for gaming and im planning to upgrade in soon the spec's are:

AMD fx6100
AMD Radeon HD6870
******** 600w modular psu
asus m5a97
8gb corsair vengence
coolermaster v10
500gb western digital hard drive
Coolermaster Storm Trooper Case

this should really be in the general hardware section, however if you are looking to upgrade it depends on your budget. At first glance i would suggest maybe a new cpu, graphics card and maybe an ssd

The motherboard you have supports the 8320 with a bios update, and that graphics card should do ultra on most games if not all

They're a competitor.
And it's likely a naff PSU.
