Hi All

I have an Asus P5VDC-MX motherboard that needs a graphics card

it has PCI Express x1 & AGP 8X (1.5V)

What cards would be the best for it to the cost of about £50

Also can I fit any PCI Express card in it are they all compatible, Will I be better off with an AGP card.

Hope you guys can help

Regards

Dex

I used an AGP graphics card HD3650 from Sapphire which was quite capable, drivers can be a pain with AGP though. Oc have some new AGP cards, for about £50 you can get,

PCI-e x1 graphics performance can be low on bandwidth, dependant on length of slot, I have heard you can fit any card by removing the back of the slot, but I have no 1st hand experience or knowledge of this practice.

Is it revision1 or x1 pci-e?
