Hey Guys,

Being the AMD fan that i am I havent built a pentium based system since 2000 and i'm a little out of shape so i wondered if you could help me with a spec. I require the following:
Motherboard - Must be SLi
Ram - At least 512MB
Processor - Nothing amazing, slightly above averaged prefered.
Graphics card - priority must be a 7900GT or similar

Now budget, i'm looking at around £450 but if you think i'm being a bit stupid, (i'm not really clued up with pentium systems) then as close to that as possible.

Many thanks for the help
Luke

Thanks for your reply, nope there will be no overclocking and it must be that graphics card/equiv or better, a c2d would be a preferred chip and i'm happy to move on budget as little as possible.

Hope that helps

If overclocking EVGA 680

If not, go for cheapest nforce 4 c2d mobo: p5n-sli p5n32-se sli deluxe, etc...

If not an option all those mobo's get a 975x mobo (like asus p5wdh) and use hacked drivers for SLi

So am i right in thinking that the 975x based mobos don't support SLi? Do they support the ATI equiv?

Thanks
Luke
