Help with Phenom 940 and Ram

Did you try

Memory Clock Mode [Manual]
Option [1067]

Not tried it yet, going to see if I get an answer from the Corsair forum first, do you think that changing it to 1067 will cause problems?

You should on done the 1067 divider way first.
Set your FSB back to 200 & try it.

Ok I set the clock frequency to 1067Mhz and in CPU-Z it now shows DRAM frequency as 535Mhz but the FSB:DRAM as 3:8, does that sound about right?

DDR2 so 2 * 535 = 1070 :) Close enough. Well done!

Not sure if its still the case but a few years ago mboard manufacturers started to use frequencies that were a few % faster than the BIOS stated ... since it was a small increase it was very unlikely to cause problems. The aim was that when a review site did a comparison of a group of mboards with the latest chipset etc then their board would get to the top of the graphs and thus be more likely to be chosen by people reading the reviews!
