help with phenom 955 o/c

right I have never o/c before but my sys is 3 years old now and needs a bit of pushing along so I have overclocked with amd engine control center and got my 955 3.20 up to 3.90 I have knocked it back to 3.80 is 3.9 as high as I would expect to go or can I do it manually higher or just stop there .

any help gratefully recieved

Mine was stable at 3.8. Anything higher and the temps were too much and it shut down.
That's about your limit on that CPU imho.
