Help with picking a monitor.

Hi folks, I'm in the process of building a new pc for gaming, and would like a 1440p high frame rate monitor (I've been using a 1080p tv for 6 years). The people in the upgrade advise forum have helped me pick the parts and suggested two monitors (the Dell S2716DG and the AOG Agon AG271QG). However when i looked up reviews for AOG some people complained about panel quality. I know the dell is a TN panel and the AOG is IPS. Which would people recommend or would you choose something different? The budget is in the price range of those two monitors.

The Dell is the better gaming monitor if you play a lot of fast-paced games, as it has a quicker pixel response time.

The IPS 1440p 144hz monitors all produce better looking images than the Dell, but often suffer from QC issues, and have slower response times.

What sort of games do you play, and what GPU do you have?

I would recommend the Dell S2415H IPS fantastic monitor under £155

Yeah the QC issues are what was concerning me. I'm getting a 1080ti and play games of all sorts . I think I'll go with the Dell.

Not sure I would be spending so much on a graphics card and then going for a budget monitor

The monitors he is looking at are in the 500 quid range, hardly budget!?
