I currently have a dual monitor 27" 1440 setup, both are Dell but one is the"gaming" version of the same display so 165hz. I use this setup for WFH and my PC and it works great. I don't tend to use the second screen for my PC, but I do use both for the work laptop.

I feel like 1440 27" is the perfect balance of size and pixel density, I think 32" is too big for 1440, unless you have quite a deep desk. Recently I've been tempted by the 34" Dell QD-OLED ultra-wide (Alienware AW3423DWF) it is outside your budget, but I believe it offers the best set up right now.

The best 27" 1440 IPS displays are well within your budget, but there will be 27" 1440 QD-OLED screens coming out soon. I think it's either worth waiting for those to release (hopefully someone will make one in budget!) or save up a bit more money and go for the AW3423DWF.

Dual monitor set up nice I have thought about that many times over the years one for gaming and the other for discord or watching football.

A lot of people have said the 27inch is the perfect balance for 1440p , I have just googled that monitor and :D that is a very nice monitor and now thinking about it and have been thinking about ultra wide a lot as it would be good for my gaming and also watching movies on what I do a lot.

heard about that but not sure when they coming out this year.

LGs 27" QD-OLED has been on pre-order in the US for $999.99 and apparently started shipping yesterday, so we should start to see it offered in the UK soon.

Every major monitor manufacturer at CES seemed to be announcing that they will be releasing one too.

I would go ultrawide.

The AW3423DWF is a bit more than you want to spend but there is every sign that they will be more qd-oleds around soon and that will drive prices down. They are worth the wait.

yeah it is that extra bit of money but if its worth it i will spend the extra it does look like a really nice monitor as well. Yeah they are definitely worth the wait for one. only worry is the burning with o led screens but don`t know how true that is
