Hi, i don't have much experience with picking motherboards so im here to ask for a recommendation so that i don't pick the wrong one. Im looking for something that isnt too expensive and is reliable. I currently have an A8N-SLI Deluxe and the chipset fan died so i've replaced it with a passive chipset heatsink. My friend did the exact same and recently in the hot weather his motherboard melted down. I have a better case than him (Antec P180) which should offer better cooling but i'd still not rather wait for my chipset to melt down before buying a new one.

So i currently have the following components:
AMD 4000+ Socket 939
Dual Channel 2GB RAM (PC3200 i think)
nVidia 6800GT
Audigy 2 ZS
Antec P180 case
SATA1 or 2 HD (not quite sure but i know its SATA)

Basically im looking for a mobo that doesn't cost too much but has all the features of my A8N-SLI Deluxe. I'd like to avoid chipset fans as i can't be bothered to replace another one, like i had to with my current board. Im not too fussed with overclocking as i don't do it. Just need good performance :)

Thanks in advance!

Asus A8N-SLi Premium nForce4 SLi

is probably the choice for you. Is basically the same board, improved slightly and made passive.

£85.95 (£100.99 Including VAT at 17.5%) and is in stock. I am assuming that you are keeping all of the other components across to it, and are happy with the Asus board you have at the moment.

Abit KN8 SLi nForce4 SLi

is a cheaper althernative at £59.80 (£70.27 Including VAT at 17.5%)
