Help with plug on new case ??

Ho just got a silverstone gd 09 htpc case. I have this plug thing which goes to the 2 USB ports on front of case. Pretty certain my Mobo does not have this socket. What do I do please. Thanks.

USB 3 mobo header

The USB slots themselves should be blue tinted.

Yes they are blue. So what do I do if my Mobo is not USB 3 ?

Not a lot. I think you can get a convertor to USB 2, some manufacturers supply them with the case.

Your mobo has no USB 3.0 header so use this adaptor to convert it to USB 2.0

But it's USB 3, I know it's not any big change apart from the speed. But in the long run it will work out being the time saver overall and only if you use data with usb a lot.

The motherboard does not have a USB 3 connector so he has to use USB 2.
