I need to get some revenge on my brother so I'm going to play a few pranks on him.

A few things to point out first. My other brother and I will have between 2 and 3 hours tomorrow morning to set it all up. We have no money so anything we use must already be in our house or cost less than £2 and be available from the co op or newsagents as that's the only shops near us. The other thing is that it can't cause physical damage to him or his property cos that will just cause more problems.

So far I've come up with covering the walls/roof/floor in newspaper and wrapping up everything else possible, although we probably dont have enough to do the entire room.

Also have a few geeky tricks that I can do with his computer.

Other than that I'm out of ideas, everything else will either kill him or cost me money.

Any ideas?!!

Lol. Thanks very much for the input. Some very good ideas in here, some not so good but they still made me chuckle :D.

Liking the computer ideas. I think I'll avoid the screenshot/desktop/screesaver as he won't get it and just think it's broke so will keep restarting the computer (he isn't very smart!). Instead I think I will alter his icons on the desktop to point to random websites, and then do some kind of random redirect on google like heofz says.

I like the cling film car idea but we car share so that could backfire if I needed the car first lol.

Shaving foam one also sounds awesome, although I don't have any foam, only gel, so I will have to go get some. How much does it expand by though? You say 800% but 8 times the size of a can of shaving foam doesn't really sound that much. If I did the draw I'd want it to properly foam out the draw and dribble on the floor!

Only bad comment so far is the one about having sex with his gf, quite frankly I'd rather eat my own face using a blunt knife whilst dangling my gentleman's parts in a toaster.

Lol, cheers for all the responses guys, some of them are awesome. May have to try some more in a few days time after he's calmed down.

In the end we went for the old covering everything in newspaper trick. Trouble is with these pics its very hard to see what has been covered as it all looks the same.

In this one you can see a couple of pictures on the left hand wall, his monitor on a wall bracket, his computer/mouse/speakers in the bottom left corner, his sofa bed along the bottom and his shelf with individually wrapped bits and bobs on it on the right!

Here you can see the floor, ceiling, sofa bed and pillows and the shelf again.

And a last little picture of his guitar!

The pictures dont do it justice, it was immense! He was not best pleased when he came back, and he still doesn't know about his computer that I've messed up as he's gone out again!

He's 19, I'm 21. Yes I know I'm very mature for my age :D

I am off travelling for a while soon so I have a feeling I may suffer some form of backlash when I return!

Haha, he's just noticed his computer is naffed. I took a screenshot of the desktop and used that as a wallpaper then hid the icons so he couldn't click anything. An oldie but a goodie :D.

I also replaced the internet explorer icon with a shortcut to play 'Staying Alive' by the Bee Gees when he finally works out how to get the icons back!

I did have a better idea though, rather than replace the shortcut, is there anyway I can replace the actual program (iexplore.exe) with a program that will play a random song or something? That would be better because doing the above doesn't work if he goes through the start menu or quick launch for example.

Well I managed to create a .exe file which I was hoping to replace internet explorer. I deleted iexplore.exe in the program files folder and replaced it with my new .exe file which I called iexplore.exe but it seems that the computer realises and 're-generates' a new iexplorer.exe which works fine again. Seems I have failed:(

change the i for a small L, that will confuse them for a while... that and change the link obv...

That's the problem. There's lots of ways to open internet explorer; desktop shortcut , quick launch, start menu, and the one pinned to the start menu. This last one pinned to the start menu is the troublesome one as when you right click on it it doesn't come up with the normal properties, so I can't change the target file in the properties like I could do with the rest.
