help with problem please

Hi when I switch on my comp the screen is covered in some pixels but continues to load to windows and then crashes and blue screens for a few seconds. Then it comes up with start windows normally ect, I hit it and it loads up fine.

windows comes up with this message then, but the comp works fine after that it only happens when I first switch it on.

my comp specs are

intel core 2 quad 2.66ghz @ 3.20
gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3LR intel p45 pci-express DDR2
seagate barracuda 7200.12 500g sata-II 16mb cache OEM

700w ps
ATI radeon HD 4890 1024mb GDDR5

I just got it repaired by UKOC for a damaged case in delivery the interesting thing is that my graphics card is not the same one it looks different but it’s the same model, I’m not sure if that matters.

Re-install your graphics drivers.

You get a blue screen and then it recovers and you can start Windows?! (Without having to reboot?)

Something sounds pretty screwed there.

I would be checking my hardware. Run MemTest for RAM, check temps on CPU/GPU. Check connections.

Also try updating graphics drivers (as posted above).
