Hey chaps
I need a PSU for my new Norco RPC-3216 server
Will be running up to 16 drives max, with a Xeon L5630 CPU and 32GB ECC RAM, plus two LSI 9211-8i cards
I'm estimating that the server won't use more than 200 watts under load but have decided on a 500w+ PSU for the case just so it's not running flat out
So far i've seen a Super Flower 550w PSU, a Corsair HX or an EVGA 500w
Any preferences? I see the Corsair and EVGA ones have a 7-10 year warranty on them now, but my last RMA experience with Corsair had them asking me to return a PSU to Holland, which was going to cost me around £25
Don't know much about Super Flower, but i have read they are supposed to be good. Not sure what the warranty is like on them though
Any suggestions?
