Hello all!

Basically I'm trying to buy a new PC, but I need some help deciding if the decision I'm about to make is worth it. I'm not trusting myself on building the PC myself even though I know it would be bit cheaper so I'm looking for pre-built ones.

The computer I'm looking at right now is £1699 and the specs are here:

CPU (Processor): Intel® Core™ i9-14900KF - 24-Core [8P @ 3.00GHz-5.60GHz / 16E @ 2.20GHz-4.40GHz] - 36MB Cache, Ultimate OC Compatible
Graphics Card (GPU): MSI GeForce RTX™ 4070 SUPER - 12GB GDDR6X - HDMI, DP - Real-Time Ray Tracing, NVIDIA DLSS 3 (Single Card)
Motherboard: MSI Pro B760-P II: ATX w/USB3.2, 2x M.2
Memory (RAM): 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5/5200mhz Kingston Fury Beast Memory
PSU (Power Supply): InWin P85FII 850W 80+ Gold ATX 3.0 Gaming Power Supply

I'm mostly wondering if it's a little bit overpriced or is there any cheaper alternatives which perhaps have bit worse specs but performance wise is pretty much the same.

Hoping to hear from you,
Aizan

From a quick scoot around on OCUK, the price looks reasonable for a prebuild (you can also price it up yourself, if you want), but if you're only using it for gaming a 14900K/14900KF isn't a CPU I'd choose.

Hi! It would mostly be for gaming, yes. What CPU would you recommend then? Got another PC that I'm looking which has i7 14700 KF.

What size screen are you using and what kind of games?

If possible I would see what the 5000 series from Nvidia brings to the table.
