I have an opportunity to convert the courses I have already completed into either
Level 2 Diploma in Team Leading from the Chartered Management Institute

or

Level 4 (Licentiateship) Professional Recognition Award in Leadership and Management from City and Guilds

This is at no cost or additional work required so it would seem silly not to really the problem is I don't know which is the better qualification and carries the most weight.

What would you choose and why.

I don't really know much about either but isn't level 2 = same as GCSE level and level 4 = same level as 1st year of university?

If there isn't much in it then maybe grab the higher level qualification?

I would have thought city and guilds would be the one to go for, most people will have heard of them.

Can you not ask whoever your assessor is/was what the best course of action would be?

There is no assessor as such, it's a scheme where qualifications we already hold are converted across.
I will try asking our education team when i can get hold of them.
