Hi

I have a pair of geil ultra ram that doesn't play too nice with my motherboard, at least on automatic settings. Could someone please advise what settings i should tamper with in the bios.

The timings are 2-5-2-2 and i've tried entering these settings, however the system freezes, apps crash so i reckon i need to change timings or something..

This is the RAM and the motherboard's an Asus A8N VM-CSM. I don't care too much for performance. It's a linux media centre that's currently spluttering on 384mb of ram (video shared memory you see).

Anyways. Any help will be very appreciated. :)

Set 2.5-3-3-6 2T 200 and lower tham individually from there. Use the bootable memtest to check

Lower 2T first though
