So, In order to see how far I could push my CPU, I dropped the RAM divider to 8x... lo and behold, my computer fails to boot! The beep code is for a power error! After a few seconds, the system resets itself, and loads the default BIOS options.
I run my system a bit undervolted, so I pushed the voltages up to stock, and same problem!
After a bit of fiddling, I found the system will not boot with a BCLK lower than 130 or higher than 166 (although this does not cause the power error beep code).
So, I thought, maybe the ram cannot run slower than 1300? So I tried 8x at 166 BCLK, and that also generates the error!
Can someone confirm that this is not normal, and post advice?
